Down For Him 2(71)

“Thank you for loving me unconditionally and always making my happiness a priority.” She said, giving me one last peck on the lips. Placing the key inside the lock, she opened the door to our new home.

“Oh my God, baby.” Autumn said, turning to me with tears in her eyes and a surprised expression on her face from the romantic setup Tee put together for me. There are white and pink roses all over along the floor with candles everywhere. Getting down on a bended knee, I looked up into my future wife’s eyes.

“Autumn, I know that you feel like I lied to you, and that I betrayed you, but I swear that was never the case. From the moment I met you, I knew I wanted you as my wife. You are everything I could have ever wanted and more. I thank God all day and night for blessing me with you. I took that bullet with pride, because I knew you were worth all the pain. Thank you for holding me down and being here for me. I know that you will be a wonderful wife and mother to our children.” Pulling out a little red box from my pocket, I opened it showing the 30-karat, flawless, princess-cut diamond ring. Seeing the shocked look on her face, I know I made the right decision.

“Autumn Green, I want to spend the rest of my days on this earth with you as my queen. Will you marry me?” I asked looking up into her eyes. Nodding her head yes, I placed the ring on her finger. Standing up, I kiss her passionately.

“I love you so much.” Autumn says in between kissing me.

“I love you, too, Ma.” Taking her by the hand, I take her onto the balcony of the house overlooking our grand backyard. I cooked Autumn’s favorite meal which was chicken alfredo, garlic bread, Cesar salad, and strawberry cake.

“When did you have time to do all this?” She asked, as I pulled her seat out for her to sit down.

“I had a few helpers.” I said kissing her cheek.

“I love you so much Justin.” She said looking down at her ring.

“I loved that too.” I said, nodding to her hand.

“Yes, it’s way more than I ever expected. It’s so beautiful.”

“I’m glad you love it, baby.” I say leaning across the table kissing her lips; that is until my phone started ringing. Hearing my pops’ ringtone, I was sure he was calling to see if I made it back safely.

“What’s good, Pops?” I asked taking a bite of my food.

“THEY KILLED HER!” My dad cried out as I heard the cries and screams of my sister in the background.

“What? Killed who?” I said, getting up from my seat.

“LOLA!” He yelled into the phone as I dropped my phone. Feeling my throat close up, I felt like I couldn’t breathe.

“Justin baby! JUSTIN!” Autumn yells squatting over me in a panic.
