She Use to Be the Sweetest Girl(61)

I grabbed my laptop and the tracking devices then headed back to Phat’s room.

“Can we talk in the living room?” I asked then walked away.

It was my way of letting them know that it wasn’t up for debate. I did not want to be in the room Phat’s shares with Alexis while she’s gone. I don’t want to think about the fact that she’s not here. I don’t want to think about what she’s going through, if they’re hurting her or feeding her. I need my focus to be on finding her.

I took a seat on the couch and pulled my research up so I could glance back at it if I needed to while I explain it to them. It took them a few minutes to come in the living room and Chris walked in first, but I’m no dummy. I know Phat doesn’t know if I heard the conversation or not and I’m not going to say anything about it. He let Chris come in first just in case I was going to throw something.

“So check this out.” I began and stopped because they both stayed away from me. I frowned my face up at them before I shook my head and continued. “I figured out where Frankie got the tracking devices. I called and they told me the instructions on how to use them were online. It took me a minute to figure it out but I’ve got it.” I said and could see Phat’s eyes light up.

“What more do you need to know how to do?” Chris asked.

I can tell he was thinking about it the same way I was. See, I thought I just hold this transceiver and go towards the red dot on the screen. It’s only that simple when there is a signal.

“I bet you didn’t know that I can email myself the last set of coordinates before it lost signal did you?” I asked with a smirk on my face.

I was already dressed so I just needed them to get ready so we could go get my girl.
