With His Love (For His Pleasure, Book 16)

By: Kelly Favor

Nicole was blindfolded. Blindfolded in the car, as Red drove her to some undisclosed location.

This wasn’t what Nicole had expected when she’d agreed to have “date night”

with Red the previous afternoon.

“I already spoke to Jess and she said she’s happy to put in a few hours looking after Riley tomorrow,” Red had told her. Jess was their go-to babysitter, but it had been a while since they’d made use of her.

Nicole hadn’t been altogether sure of Red’s sudden interest in “date night.” It had been ages since the phrase had been uttered in their house.

After Riley was born, they’d both talked about trying to keep the romance alive and making sure to schedule time together, but then Red’s business had gotten more and more demanding and Nicole was loving being a mother to Riley, so their alone time had been sacrificed.

When they did spend time together now, it was almost always as a threesome—

Red, Nicole and Riley. Nicole loved their life, even if she missed some of what it had been before having a baby.

And then, yesterday, out of the blue, Red had said he wanted to do a date night.

Surprised but willing, Nicole had said sure. She’d asked what he wanted to do together and Red wouldn’t say.

But today, Red had called her on his way home from work and told her to get dressed up for a night on the town. Nicole had once again asked what Red had in mind, and he just repeated his request for her to dress up.

So Nicole had managed to squeeze her way into a fabulous little red number, a very tight and short dress, something she could only just get away with now that she’d taken off most of the baby weight.

And then Red had arrived home. As he’d walked her to the car and opened the passenger door, he’d suddenly slipped a silk blindfold over her eyes and tied it snugly around her head.

“That’s better,” he’d said.

“What’s going on?”

“That’s for me to know and you to enjoy.”

So now she was trying her best to loosen up and enjoy the ride. The car thrummed beneath her as Nicole sat back in the plush leather seat and listened to the sounds of traffic all around.

After a little while, she spoke to him. “What’s the occasion?”

“Does there have to be one?”

“No, there doesn’t have to be one. But usually there is.”

“For now, let’s just say it’s about us.”

A moment later, his hand was on her thigh, softly caressing her skin, slowly hiking her dress up as his fingertips teased her.

Nicole shivered in her seat. “Now you’re just being mean,” she told him.

“You have to be cruel to be kind, Nicole.” His hand trailed a bit further up her leg, pushing the hemline of the dress as he went. Now his hand was getting closer to the very top of her thigh, almost near the outer edge of her panties. She’d worn a thong to go with the hot little number, just in case things had gone this route.

Of course, she’d been hoping things would go this route, although Nicole had imagined that by the time they did, it would be back at the house and probably even in their bed.

To say that things hadn’t been quite as spicy as the old days would have been an understatement.

At the same time, Nicole understood perfectly well that sex lives of married couples with newborn children were very rarely as exciting as those of unmarried, childless couples still in the courtship phase.

Red’s hand was still on her leg as he drove to God only knew where—the car vibrating with power as they sped to the unknown location. It was exciting—he was exciting—in a way that it hadn’t been for a little while now.

And now he’d gotten her very wet.

“Why did you wear this particular dress tonight, Nicole?” he asked.

His voice even sounded different right now, she thought. His voice sounded more like the old Red—demanding, seductive, knowing he would get an answer whether he deserved one or not.

“I thought you might like it,” she said, her voice trembling slightly as Red’s warm, strong hand moved further between her legs. His pinky was just barely touching her panties now. Could he tell how wet she was? Probably, yes. The thought was exciting and mortifying all at once.
