Chapter 175: Training Part II
Chapter 175: Training Part II
“I shouldn’t have read that. It makes me withered somehow.”
Then Waree pushed that screen back to Maysa, and the chief of staff only smiled amusedly.
“My job is done in time. But to make it complete got me exhausted, too. The plan is already set briefly, but I also looked through some old topics on the web board, too. Because there hasn’t been a crazy enough person to hunt it for a very long time.”
Maysa said wearily, before closing the window down.
“Speaking of crazy, when did his scream get quiet down last night?” Waree asked, trying to hold her laugh.
“Around 5 o’clock,” Maysa answered.
“To be honest, I got goosebumps from hearing his scream. It sounded like a horror movie.”
Waree said before she acted creeped out, making Maysa laugh. While Shin was slipping out a laugh in his throat, he managed to cough to cover it smoothly... And Angie, who was still sleepy, looked back and forth between them, unable to catch up with anything they were saying. Because she was sleeping like she was dead from exhaustion last night.
“G’ moooorning.”
A moment later, the drawling greeting came from behind their back, making everyone turn to look in the direction to see Tunwa walking out of his tent with a messy bedhead. Following him, the other two girls, Nuchjaree and Warunya, looked sleepy just as much.
“Let me guess, you guys look all drowsy like this, because of the terror scream of Wisana as well?”
Maysa asked after she saw them, though she felt kind of awkward toward them because she accidentally(?) overheard them talking about a serious issue last night.
“You still have to guess, May?” Nuchjaree replied, yawning continuously.
“Hearing him made me afraid that I’d have a nightmare if I slept,” Tunwa added.
The two opposite-sex friends said with indifferent annoying gestures and then, they laughed. And when the pair of light grey eyes caught the gorgeous face of Warunya, Maysa instantly paused.
‘Orn already has someone she likes.’
At the same time, Nuchjaree’s words sounded in her head again, she let out a long sigh. Then their eyes caught directly, and it was Maysa, who faked a smile at the other, not knowing what to say. And that made Warunya raise her eyebrows, before giving Maysa a sweet smile.
“Good morning, Maysa. How’re you doing about that plan?”
Maysa did not expect that the other would greet her first, so she jumped before hurriedly avoiding her eyes.
“I’m doing okay.”
“Is that so?” Warunya said cheerfully. “...Guess we have to rely on you a lot. We’re counting on you.”
“Yeah.”
She replied without looking at her, before getting up and stretching in the most natural way. And it worked. No one noticed that she was being weird at all, though the chief of staff was having a headache from what she had heard somehow.
That was right. It was not her business at all...
But after she found out that Warunya already had a crush, she started having a strange feeling in her chest somehow. ...Was it a relief? Not really. Was it frustration? Yes, a little bit.
Damn, the more I thought about this, the more painful my head was!
“I’ll take a walk around here a bit. I’ve been sitting all night long and I’m kind of sore now.”
She said, smiling at everyone, before she stood up and drank all her coffee. And she did not forget to turn to Shin and thank him again for the morning hot coffee.
And when she left, the other three joined in and sat down in the middle of the conversation right away.
“No one here’s hungry? I could eat a horse right now, to be honest.”
Tunwa started a new topic with an annoying grin.
“Well, the one who can cook like Na is not here, anyone else wants to be in charge?” Waree said.
Hearing this brown-haired girl said, everyone started looking at each other. And Tunwa swore to himself that he would never take a risk in eating anyone’s food here ever, especially from the one who could turn a simple fried egg into a burnt cancer egg like Nuchjaree.
“Then we’ll wait for Na to come back, ...wait.” Tunwa sounded like he had just realized something. “...Lala can cook, too, can’t she? Even though it looks kind of a mess, the taste is pretty good, right? And where is she now? Still passing out?”
He asked while he was looking around for the NPC. But he could not find her anywhere, so he thought maybe they would have to skip breakfast today.
“You’re looking for me?”
“Freaking hell!”
But a moment later, his heart almost jumped out of his chest when suddenly Lala, who had the concept of ‘moving like a ghost,’ kept her standard so well by appearing behind Tunwa’s back. The taller man yelled as he took a few steps away.
“Lala, I’ve told you many times not to do that!” Tunwa cried.
“Well, I just heard that you were looking for me, weren’t you?” Lala said cajolingly. “Anyway, about the breakfast, I’ve already made some for you all. It’s behind the tents, go help yourselves out.”
She said with a smile. And everyone caught eyes with each other as they came to the same conclusion in their mind that, if this girl did not have a ghost habit, she could be extremely cute!
“Lala is really nice. She got injured last night, but still got up early to make us breakfast.”
That was Waree who spoke up as she turned to give a smile at the ghost for a bit. But when her eyes caught the other girl directly, she just disappeared and popped up again closely in front of Waree, making her scream out!
“It’s my duty!”
“KYAAAAA!!”
Waree screeched out as she flinched back, not different from Tunwa at all. While Angie was sitting still, looking at Lala like she did not feel anything at all.
And this was why the party glanced at each other, before making a conclusion that this was “a frightening morning.” Then they started standing up, walking to breakfast, and eating to restore their energy before going into the dungeon as they planned.
As well as Waree, who once said that “Lala’s so cute” a while ago, though she did not take that back, she started to be frightened by that girl a bit, too. So, right now, she poked Angie as a sign to follow her, while her eyes were staring at Lala because she was afraid that the other would jump and scare her again.
“Aw, you all are too shy.”
The ghost girl said delightedly, before following them to the big breakfast with a scary floating gesture.
BOOM!!!
And that was when an explosion sound suddenly came up, making the whole ground shake, and many of them had to grab something, so they did not fall to the ground.
“What was that bomb?!” Tunwa shouted.
“A volcano?” Nuchjaree cried out.
“In a snow mountain?” Waree tried to make sense of it.
Many pairs of eyes hurriedly looked for the source of that extreme explosion at the same time, as well as Maysa who hastily ran back to the camp.
“What’s happened? The explosion was so loud that I could hear it from the inside, too. Was that anyone messing around?”
She asked with a raised voice, looking at the friends who were standing in a line and were not looking at her at all. That was how she understood that the bomb did not come from here, but somewhere else. ...Somewhere far, like that mountain.
The one that Wisana went to farm levels with Sander!!
Realizing that, she hurriedly looked over there, and at the first second, her pink lips gasped open, and her eyebrows were raised.
“W... what is that?”
The sweet voice said dumbfoundedly.
What she saw was incredible. The big mountain that Wisana was farming there had just exploded. ...And it blew half of the tip of the mountain away, showing that there was something with great damage that destroyed this mountain easily.
“What’s really happening?” Tunwa spoke.
“That’s the mountain that Wisana and Sander are farming, isn’t it?”
Nuchjaree asked softly, making the others look at each other nervously right away, especially Maysa who was frowning her eyebrows tightly. ...A worry rushed up in her head again.
“Whew... I made it in time. I actually thought that we might take a longer time than this.”
