Chapter 214: Si-Par-Naza
Chapter 214: Si-Par-Naza
Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Garrinch!
Primary Nature–Cardiac Admission!
Secondary Nature–Heart Convergence!
Upon reaching maturity, a Garrinch obtains its Secondary Nature, by which point it becomes a powerhouse, able to fight any existence that invaded Citrakah Enclave. Generally, the development for most among the Garrinch Race halts here.
However, in extremely rare cases where an absolute genius is born and could proceed beyond this level, they are choiced with two paths–harmony or Unity.
In either situation, the obtained Tertiary Nature differs. If the Garrinch chooses the path of Harmony, then they obtain the following build.
Tertiary Nature–Voluntary Sacrifice!
Basically, through the connection created by Cardiac Admission, a sort of imprint is created on the soul of the target Garrinch.
Basically, if the Garrinch with Voluntary Sacrifice suffers a mortal blow, the damage is instead transferred to its brethren, on whose soul an imprint had been created. This results in State of Harmony users of the Garrinch Race pretty much immune to death until all of their imprinted brethren are dead.
Cardiac Admission’s connection is necessary to both form the imprint on the soul and transfer the deathly blow to the target of Voluntary Sacrifice. Without it, the ability will fail to take effect.
With Nusantara Continent’s power system, a Pranic Beast obtains their Tertiary Nature during the process of attaining either a Harmony or Unity. So, they’ll achieve the respective state alongside obtaining the Tertiary Nature.
And in the current case, with the Tertiary Nature being Voluntary Sacrifice, an unkillable foe is born.
State of Harmony–Undead Protector!
A Harmony User among the Garrinch will lead its brethren through all sorts of battles, being the first to face an enemy, for as long as even one of its brethren remain alive, it can keep fighting nonstop.
Of course, only killing blows are transferred to its brethren. It has to tank the rest of the attacks and expend Prana to heal through them. Thankfully, with the aid of Cardiac Admission, an entire group of Garrinchs could be considered as one entity with a shared pool of Prana.
That is why the Undead Protector can afford to fight at the forefront.
Majority of the geniuses among the Garrinch Race choose the Path of Harmony, for it is the most beneficial in the long run to have it. Of course, the means of attainment is also another factor, for even though it needs an insane level of talent and skill, attaining a State of Harmony is still realistic.
A State of Unity, on the other hand, could only be reached by a genius in a league of their own even among the rest of the geniuses of their race. Even the Garrinch Race only had two such individuals, serving as their Leader and Deputy-Leader respectively.
Upon succeeding in this path, they obtain a completely terrifying build.
Tertiary Nature–Soul Admission!
It’s an intangible tether connecting the souls of its brethren to itself, starting from the closest kin. Once activated, the connection is permanent and couldn’t be perceived by typical senses.
Only the methods to perceive the Soul can see this connection. Upon activation, the souls of four Garrinch get connected to the user of Soul Admission, which basically makes them immune to death until the end of their lifespan.
If by chance they are killed, a volume of souls from the four connected Garrinchs gets absorbed to recreate the soul of the dead Garrinch who has Soul Admission. This is a newly created soul in the exact state of the original user.
So, upon successful creation, the user of the Soul Admission has the same amount of lifespan as they originally possessed. And this lifespan is gained from the four connected Garrinch.
If suppose the user of Soul Admission has 100 years left to live and gets killed. To revive them, 25 years of lifespan gets absorbed from each of the four connected Garrinchs.
Moreover, Soul Admission only creates the soul. The body and mind of the user doesn’t get created. Therefore, it is just a waste of lifespan.
Of course, that is an entirely different picture if the respective Garrinch is using its Unity.
State of Unity–Immortal Annihilator!
In this state, even if it is killed, the Garrinch instantly siphons soul power using Soul Admission, Prana using Cardiac Admission and memories and personality using Heart Convergence.
It quickly rebuilds its body to an optimal state, with its memories updated until the moment of its death. As a result, the only way it can die is through old age.
This was the reason the Garrinch Race was treated as the vanguard of Nusantara Continent’s defence force. As long as the Continent provides enough resources to ensure the Garrinch Race keeps birthing more of its kind, Nusantara will have a damn unkillable shield.
Originally, the Garrinch Race didn’t worry about being invaded by the Wean Clan, since individually, the Wean Clansmen were weaker than the Garrinchs, who were all Expert Gold Grades in terms of strength.
However, reality was absolutely different. The Garrinchs managed to push back the Wean Clan’s advance for a mere few minutes before their abilities were figured out and countermeasures had been made.
It was a one-sided slaughter post that, as even though the Garrinch Race killed plenty of Wean Clansmen, the casualties on the opposing side remained at zero. Only the Life Stage bodies were getting killed.
That prompted the top of the Garrinch Race’s fighting force to take action immediately, as even the Leader, Ou-Par-Guja took action.
Ou-Par-Guja had personally jumped the Boot Squad, relying on its State of Unity’s radiation to ensure they died, no matter the difference in power.
In that short duration, it had been killed four times in total. But that didn’t matter, as now, 150 Wean Clansmen were pronounced dead.
While Ou-Par-Guja focused on the Boot Squad, the Deputy-Leader, Si-Par-Naza, targeted the Potential Squad, intending to trap them within the biome.
It jumped first, unafraid of death, ready to hold its ground at the biome’s entrance. Even if the Wean Clansmen camping on the surface were to descend, nothing would change, for it would revive upon being killed.
’And it’ll make it easier for me to kill more of the enemies!’ With that thought in mind, Si-Par-Naza made a powerful leap and beelined towards the biome’s entrance.
However, in that moment, one of the Potential Squad members raised a hand and made a hacking motion, ’Is that supposed to mean anything?’
That was Si-Par-Naza’s final thought, as it defended against the attack, which upon contact, erased a portion of its body, mind, and soul. The most dangerous part of this was the mental erasure, for that prevented it from reacting promptly, within which multiple more crescent blades landed upon it and fully erased its existence.
GAH!
What should have been an almost instantaneous revival process took more than two minutes. And by the time Si-Par-Naza finished reviving, the Potential Squad had long escaped, ’What...what the heck was that attack?’
’Fucking bastard!’ It recalled the attacker’s face, ’I will remember you! I will kill you, no matter what!’
