Forced Exchange was the last among them to make a move. Unlike what everyone thought he would do, he didn’t immediately target Loki’s Gold Body Divine Metac.
Instead of using the Forced Exchange Metac on Loki, he sped up and overtook Loki. Then he blocked Loki’s path and sealed off access to the other dimensions with his Cave Heaven.
After doing this, he shouted at the others, "Surround and kill him."
His actions surprised them a little bit, but they didn’t hesitate to do what he said and surround Loki. The four of them formed a square formation around him, with Forced Exchange doing most of the work.
Forced Exchange had chosen to do this because the sect judged that the Gold Body Divine Metac was worth 500 divine merit points. After adding a 10% service charge to this value, he was asked to pay 550 divine merit points to initiate the forced exchange of goods.
Monarch Forced Exchange thought that this price was high. And even though he knew that this price was less than half the price of the secret recipe needed to refine the Gold Body Metac, he still wasn’t comfortable paying that price.
The difference in price between the Divine Metac and the recipe for making the Divine Metac is that the recipe is knowledge that can’t be lost and can be used many times for an eternity.
On the other hand, the Gold Body Metac can be lost or destroyed. If Forced Exchange can pay a price to take it now, then someone else pays the price to take it in the future. This has reduced the value of the Divine Metac.
Forced Exchange knew all of these and knew that he would have to pay a higher price for the refinement recipe, but he still found it painful to pay this price. This was because he had been saving his divine merit points so that he could advance to rank 7.
When he thought about his situation, he shook his head and said inwardly, ’Everyone is terrified of me because of the capability of my Divine Metac. But they don’t know that I don’t want to use my Divine Metac because it is too expensive.’
’Maybe I would use it if I didn’t have a better choice and if I wouldn’t be taken advantage of when I get the Gold Body Metac. But I have a better choice, and I don’t want to become the target of attack yet. So this new Gold Body will have to continue living for a while.’
If he received an order from the higher-ups of his alliance or if he had members of his alliance present at the scene to help, he would have used the Forced Exchange Metac on Gold Body immediately. But he didn’t have any of these things.
What he had was a situation where he would be attacked by all three enemies as soon as he got the Gold Body Metac. He is not sure if Monarch Money Construct or Monarch Wealth Status will attack him, but he is sure that Monarch Life’s Worth will attack him.
Either way, he doesn’t want to spend 500 divine merit points only to be ganged on and be at risk of losing the Divine Metac after getting it. This is why he plans to stall the fight until reinforcement from his alliance comes to join the battle.
On the other end of all of these attacks and schemes, Loki was not having a good time. He couldn’t have a good time with golden arrows stabbing into him every second, and an attack striking his Life Fire directly.
He had sensed all of the attacks sent his way, so he knew who did what and when they did it. So he knew about Monarch Wealth Status’s blunder.
If he wasn’t planning to lead them far away from the Blessed Heaven World so that he would have time to kill them before reinforcement arrives, he would have attacked to kill Monarch Wealth Status after the money cultivator lost 50% of his strength.
But the distance wasn’t far enough, so he let go of the opportunity and focused on pulling them farther away from the Blessed Heaven World. Unfortunately for him, the golden arrows appeared and began stabbing at him.
He could still endure the golden arrows as they only cost him some lifespan. He had a lot of lifespan to spare, so enduring for ten minutes under the barrage of the golden arrows wasn’t a problem for him. But Forced Exchange ruined his plans by blocking his way.
Now that things have reached this point, Loki stopped holding back. The first thing he did was to activate the Siphon Ability on Forced Exchange. This caused Forced Exchange to begin to lose lifespan at a rate of 6 years per second.
The second thing he did was to start making inquiries about all of them through the divine constellation. He went all out inquiring about everything in their lives in a bid to force them to block his inquiries.
After he did these two things, he finally activated the ultimate Power Shifting Ability and used the full power of his Divine Metacs to attack them. But even before he did this, they were already faltering.
What he did was to use both the Gold Body Metac and the Vengeful Bones Metac normally. Then he made his other four Divine Metacs shift into the Vengeful Bones Metac.
So Gold Body took the front and behaved like his only Divine Metac, while the other five Divine Metacs strengthened Gold Body and absorbed the power of the attacks of the enemy to empower his body.
This arrangement caused his power to become 6(Cultivation Rank) × 6(Body) × (6(Gold Body Metac) +6(Vengeful Bones × 5)) × 83 million(Cave Heaven) × 6(Law Fragments), which is 537,840 units of divine power.
In comparison, the power of Monarch Money Construct, who is the second strongest divine being, was 6(Cultivation Rank) × 6(Will) × 6(Money Construct Metac) × 100 million(Cave Heaven) × 6(Law Fragments), which is 129,600 units of divine power.
